Sometimes the biggest obstacle to receiving support is not a lack of resources but the difficulty of filling in a form, understanding technical language or getting hold of a certificate.
Felisa Contigo started out as a new, accessible model, on WhatsApp and on the web, to guide the most vulnerable groups step by step. Having successfully met its validation and development goals, we have closed this stage, leaving behind a body of research that is the first of its kind in Spain for future third-sector initiatives.

Why does social support fail to reach the people who need it most?
Long procedures, confusing requirements and a lack of support mean thousands of families go without the benefits they are entitled to.
At Fundación Felisa we published the report «Non-Take-Up de Prestaciones Sociales en España» to bring this problem to light, something we saw at very close range while supporting the people affected by the DANA floods, and to put practical solutions on the table.
In it we analyze what causes this barrier and show how technology with a human approach, through our conversational assistant Felisa Contigo, can simplify the process to guarantee fair, clear and close access to social rights.
