Fundación Felisa recognized by Banco Sabadell in the Charity Aces at the Trofeo Conde de Godó

At the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell – Trofeo Conde de Godó 2025, one of professional tennis’s most emblematic tournaments, Fundación Felisa has been recognized by Banco Sabadell as one of the organizations chosen for its Charity Aces initiative.
The tournament, one of the most emblematic on the professional circuit, is an ATP 500 with more than 71 years of history, bringing together the great names of world tennis every year. Beyond the sport, it has also established itself as a place to support social causes through initiatives like the Charity Aces.
The initiative, run by Banco Sabadell, turns every ace served over the course of the tournament into a financial donation to non-profit organizations. Since 2008, the program has supported a total of 57 organizations.
This year the focus was on organizations in the Region of Valencia working on the recovery after the DANA floods that hit Valencia in October 2024.
Fundación Felisa was one of the four chosen, alongside Alicante Gastronómica Solidaria, Fundación Horta Sud and Fundación Colisée.
The financial support received will go in full to our DANA Relief and Recovery Fund, which has been running since the first days of the emergency. The fund makes it possible to cover basic needs, support home repairs and stay alongside affected families through their recovery.
At the ceremony, our colleague Yaisa Córdoba, the project coordinator, accepted the award from Banco Sabadell’s CEO, César González-Bueno Mayer, and said:
“Banco Sabadell’s support is a very large grain of sand toward carrying on with the rebuilding, which is not finished. And it is also a way of making visible that the problem is still there, that it is very big, and that Fundación Felisa wants to be present over the medium and long term.”
