We turn nature into a "living classroom" for learning how to look after tomorrow, measuring and strengthening young people’s emotional connection with the place they live in.

Connecta Verd is our flagship program for participation, environmental education and land stewardship at Parque Felisa. We open the doors of our natural surroundings to schools through tailored programs that combine awareness with all-round development.

So that the learning is real, measurable and lasting, connecting the school curriculum with hands-on care of the Mediterranean ecosystem, we use several active methodologies: service learning, experiential learning and place-based learning, emotional education in nature, nature-based activities and stewardship exercises.

We do not just run outdoor activities: we rigorously measure the impact of the experience on participants’ knowledge, skills and emotions using scientific indicators (pre and post Likert scales).

Improving wellbeing through direct contact with nature, while building an environmental awareness that reaches far beyond the classroom.

Regenerating and restoring the land

Participants are active agents in restoring the ecosystem, not just observers.

Applied environmental education:

hands-on knowledge of Mediterranean biodiversity, native and invasive species, and ecosystem services.

Psychological wellbeing through contact with nature:

Less stress, better attention, emotional regulation and a sense of belonging to the place.
